![]() ![]() I like X better right now because I can discuss politics freely etc. I also like meeting other interesting people and seeing a lot of new things in tech etc. I like Facebook because I love seeing friends and relatives pics on it as they get older. So, come on Facebook! Don’t you have better things to do (or better ways to do them)? Somehow, she didn’t make the algorithm cut for getting a regular spot in my feed (as opposed to some people I knew 20 years ago for whom I see every single thing they post). I don’t know, however, if the rumors about restricting my access to people’s posts is true, but there are certainly things that don’t pop up for me that I would be really interested in, for example things my daughter posts. But, in order to see those comments I have to go in and physically change that setting every-single-time. I prefer to make my own decision on what is relevant to me, and many times things that they leave out of “most relevant“ I think are excellent comments. Per my title, it’s pretty self evident, but one thing that really irks me is that the Facebook algorithm decides, seemingly arbitrarily, to choose to show me just some responses to posts rather than all comments. Frankly, whether you participate not at all, or a little, or a lot you are still affected by the powers of facebook. I like Facebook! It’s an amazing social phenomenon that has become an organic part of society. * Celebrate everyday, candid moments with stories, which disappear in 24 hoursĪ little too much big brother, and not enough non-partisan actual monitoring of dangerous content * Turn your hobby into a side hustle by becoming a creator or selling things on Marketplace * Customize your profile to choose how you show up and who you share your posts with * Effortlessly create reels from trending templates, or let your creativity shine with a full suite of editing tools * Catch up with friends, family and influencers through Feed and stories * Join groups to learn tips and tricks from real people who’ve been there, done that ![]() * Discover creators, small businesses and communities who can help you dive deeper into the things you care about * Watch reels for quick entertainment that sparks inspiration * Personalize your Feed to see more of what you like, less of what you don’t ![]() * Shop for affordable and uncommon stuff on Marketplace and take your hobbies to the next level Whether you’re looking for a spark of inspiration with reels or want to dive deeper into something you already love with Marketplace or in groups, you can discover ideas, experiences and people that fuel your interests and help you make progress on the things that matter to you on Facebook.
